Congratulations to John Nieves and Mike Meyer who were presented the EVT of the Year Award and William F. Foster Award of Excellence at the recent Fire Truck Training Conference in Michigan, sponsored by Spartan Fire Chassis!

John Nieves received the 2026 EVT of the Year Award while Mike Meyer was honored with the William F. Foster Award of Excellence at the Fire Truck Training Conference.

Construction continues on our $20M expansion at our Spartan Emergency Response facility in Brandon, SD. This is the second in our series of updates from our man on the ground.

The expansion is expected to reduce lead times and increase production capacity by 40 percent for fully custom Spartan Emergency Response fire apparatus as well as high-performance, S-180 fire trucks that can be completed and delivered in less than a year. This project will also increase the painting and fabrication capabilities across the Brandon campus. Follow along as we continue to make progress.

Spartan Fire Chassis was happy to host Little Firefighter Quinn and his family to see our Spartan 911 Pumper and tour our Charlotte, MI facility on this Patriot Day. This special pumper, donated by the associates of Spartan Motors and its suppliers, is dedicated to the memory of the fallen firefighters of the FDNY who bravely served on Sept. 11, 2001 and those it transported to their final resting place. The names of the firefighters who were transported in this pumper to their final resting place are listed on the rear cab door.
