This week our employees and the employees of Metrolina Fleet Services, LLC received CPR, AED and First Aid training. Whether they experience an emergency on or off duty, our team members are certainly better prepared to handle situations while awaiting emergency responders.

Alex Grullon, Operations Manager, was presented with the prestigious American Towman ACE Award on behalf of Charlotte HERO Patrol Roadside Assistance for the companies outstanding performance to our client, Rivian. The awards ceremony was held in Baltimore, Maryland November 23rd, 2024 during the 35th American Towman Exposition.

This performance based award goes to the top 1% of roadside assistance and towing providers in the nation. Additionally, it demonstrates our commitment to providing industry leading, customer focused service that is second to none.

Charlotte HERO Patrol Roadside Assistance opened January 2016 and for the past 9 years has delivered best in class towing and roadside assistance services in the Charlotte NC metropolitan area.

With tropical storm Helene moving through our area, we anticipate heavy rain throughout the day leading to downed trees and flooding. Our team is on duty and ready to respond to customer needs.

This is a massive storm that will have several rounds of varying degrees of rain intensity. If you don’t have to drive, take the day to relax at home and enjoy a 3 day weekend.

On August 18th we hit our 20,000th call on our dispatch system. We have been using Towbook Management Software since March 2018 and it enables our company to run very efficiently so today marks a great milestone for us.

We were having a contest with various ways for our employees to cash in when we hit 20,000 calls. Vincent (right) won $100 cash for guessing the closest date to when would hit 20,000. Tremaine (left) also won cash and a gift card for working during the shift where we hit 20,000.

Thank you all for the great job you do for our customers on a daily basis.

Our team spent a few hours this morning practicing vehicle roll-over, winching and recovery tactics. We strive to learn something new everyday so we’re always ready for any challenge we face.

Despite our most recent natural disaster Hurricane Debby, it never stopped our standard operating procedures. Extreme weather conditions can call for extreme measures and this past week we’ve used every bit of knowledge, experience and teamwork as we could and we are all proud of ourselves for being able to help when most needed. Our prayers go out to all the people affected by this tragic event. We will now back to high temperatures so be sure to stay cool and hydrated.
