FYI - Car Warranty claims are similar to Health Insurance claims.
First the customer will need to make sure the repair shop participates. If they do, typically the repair shop can diagnosis and contact the warranty company so a claim can be opened.
The adjuster must review your coverage details prior to any/all repairs. Repairs should be pre-authorized in order for the repair shop to be considered for reimbursement and usually at a reduced rate. Not all shops participate. Hope this helps some that are not familiar.
Warranty Companies can be great if procedure is followed.
