We’ll be grouping riders by bike size to keep things fun and competitive.

The track is awesome today. I have one straight to fix. It’s the last one left that I haven’t been able to get the mix on the dirt worked out. And two berms to fix. Then it’s all maintenance. It’s been a long journey over these last 9 months. We are almost there.

Well now that we have all of these new followers I thought it would be a good time to remind everyone about the Halloween Event. Great time to come check us out.

We will be putting on a holeshot contest at 2 pm. It’s casual but we will have small trophies and the overall winner will get their name on the post permanently on the post (hoping to add to it every year). We are going to break it up by bike sizes.

Hay ride and trunk or treat for the kids. 

Small bonfire and s’mores.

Free camping over night

Ride until dark.

Costume contest.

And a ghost walk thru the haunted woods.

We have the best community and we are just going to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather with good friends.

🚨 CCDR TRACK UPDATE 🚨

CLOSED TODAY — MONDAY, OCTOBER 19

Time to start cleaning up from the weekend!

We’ve got some work ahead of us getting everything back in shape. I’m predicting the track will remain closed until at least noon on Tuesday, October 20.

As always, I’ll keep everyone updated as we make progress.

Thanks for your patience, and we’ll get you back out riding as soon as possible!

We have spent over 25 years building CCDR for families. You don’t need a map or to worry about your kids. You can see the whole property from the lake. Even when they go back in the woods it is easy to find your way back out. Go in the tall grass. Well it’s just grass you can ride right thru it. There is always a helping hand around when it is needed…

But to me it’s important that the kids go out on their own and figure out how to get themselves out of trouble. There is not as much opportunity to for kids to run around with other kids in a safe environment like when I was a young. And I will continue to make this place for the kids. We hope to go for another 25 years and see generations learn and grow here.

It is chilly this morning. The track is going to need a couple days to dry. Should be perfect for next weekend.

Can’t wait for Halloween! I picked up s’mores yesterday. I had the guys get wood for the fire. I have hay bales for the tractor. We are going to have so much fun.
