Dear Valued Family Customers,
It is with a very sad Heart that I must write this. As some of you may or may not know, we acquired new Landlords October 1, 2021, was told this was going to happen September 28,2021. The new Landlord, October 1st, gave us 6 months to see what we wanted to do or where we could go to keep serving the Channahon Community, but with my dad out of commission and needing to retire and the higher cost of doing business (rent), it has become unfeasible for me to keep the business running smoothly. We have investigated other places and merging with other companies, but with no avail. So, we must be out of the shop May 31, 2022, with May 23 & 24 the last day of services.
We are thankful to customers like you who have supported us over the last 29 years at this location and 76 years when my Grandfather John Lucenta Sr started the business in Joliet and the surrounding communities. We have shared many joys and sorrows together over the many years. We understand that you have been an important customer to us, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you with the closure. I will be available at the shop till the date of closure, May 31, 2022, for any assistance or support. If you have any further concerns regarding anything, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We are again thankful for your business and continued patronage
Sincerely,
John Lucenta Jr, Christine Lucenta, Andrew, and Gary

Get your car ready for winter ☹️
1. In cold temps, starting a car requires up to twice the battery current. Be sure that the battery is new or fully charged.
2. Use an ice scraper, rather than your windshield wipers, to defrost an iced-over windshield. The ice can damage the rubber on your wipers!
3. Worn tread won't grip a wet or icy road well; make sure that tires are still in good shape and replace if need. Stop by and we will take a look at them any time.
4. Make sure tires are at the correct pressure. For every 10 degree drop in temp, car tires lose 1-2psi tire pressure. Be sure to adjust accordingly.
