For all-out racing injectors, our custom-built, dedicated alcohol test bench is one of the most advanced in the country-providing both static (wide-open) & dynamic (pulsing) flow numbers, before & after ultrasonic cleaning on a true weight basis!
At PEFI, we understand that modern racing Injectors are rated by weight, aftermarket ECUs are tuned by weight, & therefore racers & tuners want to see injector output numbers represented by weight.
Furthermore, we offer the most comprehensive & complete test results in the industry with our Interactive, 3-Part, Microsoft Excel-based flow report allowing racers, tuners, & engine builders to interactively view injector flow & set deviation numbers graphically & numerically, site-by-site, one-by-one, under your specified test conditions. Calibrated within +/-1% accuracy, our closed-loop temperature & pressure controlled, alcohol-specific flow bench does not simply deduce injector mass flow (lbs/hr or PPH) numbers from volumetric (cc/min) flow meters alone which often introduce systematic conversion errors from inaccurate fluid densities & frequently neglected fuel viscosities-as is done in practice by most others in the industry. Instead, we measure the weight of fuel dispensed by each injector directly, while utilizing highly accurate, engineering-grade flow meters to validate flow numbers & measure changing fuel densities in real time.
