🚨 LICE AWARENESS 🚨
Hi, Danielle here. These are my pro tips on a very common thing that people don’t like to talk about!
Listen up! 👂🏻 TIME TO LEARN!
Summer camps, sleepovers, sports, and back-to-school season are prime time for lice!
Educate your kids!
ALL AGES‼️
🧢 DO NOT share hats
🪮 DO NOT share brushes or combs
🎀 Avoid sharing hair accessories
🏊‍♀️ DO NOT share beach towels

Help protect your family by using tea tree shampoo or other essential oil-based shampoos that may help repel lice.

🔍 Check regularly:
• Behind the ears
• At the nape of the neck
• Around the hairline
•Wear long hair up in a pony tail or a braid

Look for tiny white or tan eggs (nits) attached to the hair shaft, about 1” off the scalp. They may appear to be tear drop shape 💧

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
Danielle’s Haircut Garage cannot perform haircuts on children with active lice infestations. Barbers are required to stop mid-service at the first sign of lice.

A quick check at home can save an entire classroom, camp group, or sports team from an outbreak!
(Children will be checked daily upon arrival at most daycares/camps until they are free and clear! 👍🏻)
