Thank You for Seventeen Amazing Years!
You may have heard that we are passing the torch to new owners at Station 1. We are confident that the new owners, Richie and Jess Fox, will continue to provide you with the same amazing service you’ve come to expect.
We want to take a moment to say thank you for all the support, friendship, and memories you have given us throughout these seventeen years. Whether you were stopping in for a flat, bringing us your tires, getting your brakes fixed, or trusting us with one of the many other car issues that came our way, we were truly honored that you chose us.
You all became more than customers—you became family.
We’ve had the privilege of watching your kids grow up and get their own cars (including all the stress and excitement that comes with the newest driver in the family). We’ve watched the kids come through each Halloween and pose in front of Mater, and we’ve shared Christmas memories with horse-drawn carriage rides. We’ve enjoyed countless conversations, laughs, stories, and adventures along the way.
Every cookie we made and every cup of Todd’s famous hot chocolate was a part of the many wonderful things we loved doing. We have enjoyed hearing your stories, sharing in your adventures and misadventures, and we hope you have enjoyed sharing them with us just as much.
Todd will still be around for a while to help with the transition to the new owners—and, of course, to keep you laughing while he's working on your car!
We are looking forward to the next chapter of our lives when we both retire at the end of the year. This will allow us to spend more time with our grandchildren, go on traveling adventures, and of course catch all the fish we can.
The support and patronage we have received from our neighbors, friends, and community members over the years have made us feel incredibly blessed to be part of such a wonderful, close-knit, and supportive community.
We also want to take a moment to thank our amazing daughter, Danielle, for helping us in every way imaginable—from shoveling snow on freezing Sunday mornings to taking care of this thing we don’t quite understand called Facebook!
Our wonderful daughter-in-law, Alyssa, and Grandpa’s super-helper, Carter, have also been there whenever we needed them. And we can’t forget our newest arrival, Arya, who may not have been able to help much just yet, she is just a baby after all, but she has certainly brought plenty of joy to our family.
We also want to thank our cousin, Doug Lafler, as well as Mark Albert (who has always felt like family) for all their support throughout the years. We truly appreciate each and every one of you who has supported us, helped us, laughed with us, and shared in this journey.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are incredibly grateful for every one of you and for the seventeen amazing years we’ve had together.
