About H.M. Brown and Associates

In 1985, a young Bud Brown, fresh out of college (and fresh off a short stint with General Electric), attended a keynote speech that would unknowingly change his life. The first and lasting words said by the GE keynote speaker were simply, “Are you passionate!?” Soon afterwards, Bud followed his lifelong passion for cars and began working at a Colorado franchised automobile dealer. While Bud enjoyed the interaction with his customers and selling automobiles, he - like most people - thoroughly detested the selling process used by most dealerships in that day. There had to be a better way!In May 1986, Bud left the dealership and drafted a business plan for an automobile brokerage firm, a new concept that would ultimately set the standard for customer treatment, transparency, and automobile sales standards of excellence that are of the utmost importance to car buyers, still to this day. Shortly after, H. M. Brown & Associates was born. We pride ourselves on the fact that H.M. Brown & Associates has been built one customer at a time, every day since.On that fateful day in 1986, Bud began a commitment to the true optimum car-buying experience. Not just selling you a car, but providing a vehicle that can change your life. Not just a way to get from point A to point B, but a vehicle that truly serves you best. Takes away some stress. While we never place any promotional material permanently on any vehicle we handle, we do provide each one with a removable license plate cover. When the time comes to put on your permanent plate on your new (or new-to-you) vehicle and you once again see our plate cover, we hope we have served you well enough to join over 100,000 Colorado ‘votes’ in replacing the cover right back over your permanent plate.
