The new 992.2 911 Cup is a significant evolution of an already proven race car, bringing improved aerodynamics, braking, electronics, handling, and a more powerful naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six producing 520 PS, a 10 PS increase over the previous generation.
Visually, the differences are easy to spot: a redesigned front end with integrated fender vents, optimized underbody aerodynamics, and a completely redesigned rear end. Underneath, the 992.2 brings upgraded brakes, standard Bosch M5 racing ABS, increased steering lock, updated electronics, and a number of refinements designed to make the car faster and easier to operate.
But that doesn't make the 992.1 any less compelling.
The previous-generation Cup has already proven itself as one of the most successful and versatile customer racing cars in the world, with strong results across one-make racing, endurance events, open GT competition, and other racing formats.
