🚨 SHARE THIS POST 🚨 We're going racing THIS FRIDAY NIGHT with the NASCAR Local Racing Series, American Iron Racing Series, AND the HD Dawgs!

It's Santa in the Summer! 🎅 We've heard a rumor that Old Saint Nick will be at the track with gifts for our littlest racing fans....are you on the nice list??

COLORING CONTEST REMINDER 🎨 Our race fans ages 12 and under are welcome to collect, color, and return the coloring sheet of their favorite racer to the Merchandise Booth to receive a ticket for a FREE ICE CREAM TREAT between now and July 10th.

Tickets are available on MyRacePass, hawkeyedowns.org, and at the gate. Gates open at 6:00 pm. Races begin at 7:05 pm. See you THIS FRIDAY NIGHT at Hawkeye Downs Speedway!

EVENT SCHEDULE
Pits open at 4:30PM
Drivers meeting at 6:15PM
Hot laps at 6:30PM
Opening ceremonies at 7:00PM

ADMISSION
General Admission $10
Children 8 & Under FREE (with paid adult)
Pit pass $30
Tickets are available at the front gate or on My Race Pass. Cash or card is accepted at the gate.

REGISTRATION
Registration at the pit gate on the night of the event. No pre-registration is required.
Adult (18+) and competitor pit passes $30 (includes trophy class entry fee)
Transponder rental $15
Adult money class $20 with 100% payback
Youth pit pass (non-participant, ages 6-17) $20
Youth pit pass (non-participant, ages 0-5) FREE

On Friday, June 19th, we were honored to recognize David Porter II as our Veteran of the Night 🇺🇲

David served in the United States Army from 2003 to 2012 as a Combat Engineer and Carpentry/Masonry Specialist. During his service, he completed two deployments to Iraq and one deployment to Afghanistan while serving with the 92nd Combat Heavy Engineer Battalion Alpha Company and the 92nd 554th Engineer Company. Throughout his military career, David helped provide lead security on convoys and worked to build infrastructure that supported local communities in the countries where he served. Today, he continues to give back as a crew member for the Christian race team W.B. Racing. David’s deep love for his country, his faith, and the outdoors continues to shine through in all he does.

Thank you for your service, David!
