MEET OUR STAFF

Jeff Yacuk joined our growing team in April of 2026, bringing over eight years of driving instructor expertise from the Pacific Northwest. By day, he is a high school Spanish teacher in Cedar Park - a role that keeps him busy managing conjugations and teenagers. He never passes up an opportunity to travel overseas and as we like to say: if you can navigate international driving, you can handle anything behind the wheel. Mr. Yacuk brings a calm and cool demeanor to his lessons, just like his golf game.

We provide private driving lessons, simulator instruction, and third party road tests for busy adults and teens.

Great event for our future students and their moms and dads to start good safety habits on the road!!

Make sure your child’s car seat is safe and installed correctly! Join us Aug. 27 at 3189 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown for a child car seat check event.

The WilCo EMS team will inspect your seat for integrity, expiration, recalls and proper fit. They will also help ensure it is installed correctly and show you how to reinstall it with confidence.

Several appointment times are available, but registration is required. Please register each car seat and vehicle separately for different time slots.

The child must be present if you are receiving a car seat unless you are expecting.

If Larry Vinklarek’s last name sounds familiar, it is because his brother, Coach Victor, recruited him to our team in the summer of 2022. By day, Larry is an agriculture teacher in Pflugerville, so he knows exactly how to handle unpredictable situations with ease. He lives right here in the community with his family and is a great asset to our team. Between his driver-ed experience, calm nature, and fearless problem-solving, it is no surprise he is a huge favorite with our students!

Tristan joined our team in 2024, bringing with her a strong background as an active community member and a dedicated homeschool educator. Her passion for education extends far beyond the traditional classroom. As a simulator coordinator, she is committed to helping students become safe and responsible drivers. She supervises comprehensive virtual driving lessons that cover diverse road conditions, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques. Tristan’s patient, encouraging approach helps students build confidence and instill safe habits before they ever hit the road. While she may not be a fan of video games, she loves challenging and mentoring students in the virtual world.

Pete Kokkinos joined our team in 2024, leaving the corporate world behind to focus on making a positive impact on young people. During the week, he supports special needs students in Pflugerville ISD. On weekends, he dedicates his time to teaching students safe driving practices. When he isn’t on the road or in the classroom, Pete helps his wife run their amazing candle-making business.

Mrs. Lira joined our team in the summer of 2023, bringing a wealth of patience and real-world experience. By day, she is a high school agriculture teacher—a role that keeps her busy managing both livestock and teenagers. She takes her time with our driver's ed students, creating a calm and supportive learning environment. As we like to say: if you can calm down an excited show steer and teenage handler on show day, you can handle anything behind the wheel. She lives on a farm with her animals and husband, but she handles crazy city drivers with total composure. And Sra. Lira habla Español.

LeeAnn is likely the first smile you'll see when you walk through our door. As our office manager, she focuses on addressing the needs of new drivers and their parents for a smooth and low-stress experience. She joined the Wilco team at the end of the summer season in 2024 after an exciting career in real estate. She has a gift for handling complex student situations, making her the ideal person to resolve frustrating paperwork issues and prevent endless trips to the DPS. She lives in Cedar Park with her dogs and is a self-proclaimed pickleball fanatic.

MEET OUR STAFF

Mikhail did such a great job teaching his son how to drive that we couldn't help but offer him a job. After a long career as a professional driver, he joined our team in the fall of 2023. He brings a fresh perspective since he has seen everything in many states and countries. After growing up in Ukraine, where he earned a master's degree, he moved to the US where he's been living, working, and raising a family with his wife for over 30 years. With his commercial driving experience, Mikhail is an absolute expert at teaching the defensive skills new drivers need to handle Austin’s crazy traffic. Mikhail speaks English, of course, along with Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish...but most importantly, he speaks fluent "safe driving" in every language!
