A Flooding We Will Go - it has been too good to be true so far.
I received an updated Taper (projected lake inflows and flooding from the USCOE) and a follow up email... Bottom line, the main jetty will be going under water this weekend without any additional flooding because of rain that hit upstream of us.... and we are expected to get upto 5" of rain mainly over the weekend... and it will be widespread.
As a reminder. We have 4 paddle boats for people to use to get to and from the docks if we are not there and when we are there, our big green boat will be in the water to take people to / from the docks during business hours.
" With recent rainfall upstream, we are expecting the lake level to rise this week and possibly into the weekend. Current taper shows the lake level being above 560.5 by midnight on Friday, June 12. This elevation does not include any additional rain which is in the forecast for this weekend."
