Requirements:
• Have a working knowledge of scanners and the ability to work with computer systems and online repair databases including
Identifix, AllData & Mitchell
• Basic duties include service and repair, providing diagnostics, writing repair assessments.

Jay's Auto Service, A Well Established Auto Service Facility in Catonsville has an immediate opening for a Professional Service Writer.

Service Advisor works as a liaison between the customer and the business; ensuring that the customer's needs are being met. This means that candidate must have automotive knowledge in order to sell and explain why repairs are needed, enjoy working with the public/good people skills and computer/keyboarding skills.

This position requires someone who is a self-starter, a strong leader, and someone that understands the importance of strong relationships with their customers.

The successful candidate should be dynamic, energetic, detail oriented and a multi tasker. He or she must be an excellent communicator, able to explain solutions to problems in a friendly manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Greet customers promptly when they arrive for service.

*Assess the customer's needs and conduct the appropriate consultation to meet/exceed those needs.

*Write Repair Order based on customer's needs.

*Coordinate the timely and accurate repair of the customer's vehicle.

*Perform above the department average in customer pay labor sales per RO, Hours/RO, ELR, ROs per day, and customer satisfaction.

*Conduct effective and prompt follow up with the customer throughout the service.

*Provide memorable, personalized customer service.

*Conduct business and paperwork in compliance with company policy.

*Coordinate with technicians, guest services, porters, cashiers, and fellow service advisors. To ensure that repairs are efficient and follow up is prompt and accurate for every customer .

REQUIREMENTS:

* The Qualified Candidate will present Extreme Organizational skills

*Experience as a service advisor at a high-line automotive dealership (Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician)

*Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
