Thanks to another returning customer, Jerry L. Ford for trusting us with his daughter’s Dodge.

The complaint was that the vehicle felt like it was grinding at times, especially when slowing down and making turns. After pulling the codes, we found a failed front passenger wheel speed sensor. During our inspection, we also discovered that the upper caliper slide pin had completely backed out and left the chat 😅. As a result, the caliper was riding against the rotor and had sustained damage.

We replaced the front passenger wheel speed sensor, installed a new caliper, and replaced the slide pin hardware to ensure everything was secure and operating properly.

We got them back on the road safely and reliably. We appreciate your continued business and the trust you place in Apex Auto Works, Jerry! 🔧🚗👍

🥶❄️ THIS freeze storm almost killed this 2008 Ford F-150…

Customer had been filling the cooling system with straight water then the Texas freeze hit. The freeze plugs blew out and coolant went everywhere. Most people would assume the engine was DONE.

After tearing into it and checking the block carefully for cracks… somehow this motor survived. 👀

We replaced the freeze plugs, fixed everything up, and got this F-150 back on the road running better than before. 🔥🔧

A little coolant maintenance could’ve prevented a BIG repair bill. Don’t wait until it’s too late.

🔧 Another Truck Saved at Apex Auto Works 🔧

We had this 2003 Ford F-350 5.4 Triton come in with a major oil leak after the valve cover gaskets were recently replaced by another shop… but the problem wasn’t fixed.

After taking a closer look, we found the issue the gasket was improperly seated and got pinched, causing it to keep leaking from the same area.

We corrected the installation the right way and got everything sealed Apex Auto Worksld be 👍

While we were in there, it was clear this truck is a little overdue for spark plugs and coils something we always keep an eye out for to help prevent future issues and keep your vehicle running strong.

This 2020 Kia Optima FE came in with one side blowing warmer air than the other on max A/C. After hooking up gauges and doing a quick check, we found the refrigerant was just a little low. Got it topped off—and just like that, back to blowing ice cold ❄️💨
