Viper Specialty Performance Performance Parts and Packages for the Exotic Automobile Market

Viper Specialty Performance was conceptualized in order to give life to what so many car enthusiasts dream about. The dreams that encompass our idea of perfection; man and machine working together in perfect harmony. We want your car to be a more a part of you and your desire to drive than you ever thought possible. These are the fundamental ideologies that drive us to instill the highest quality

possible in everything we manufacture and assemble, from the simplest appearance item to the most complex engine components.

Since VSP has become synonymous with the best possible quality repairs on the controller front, our controllers and customers deserve the recognition reflected in the value of their cars. When you sell your car, especially Gen-1 and early Gen-2 cars, having a VSP controller is an immediate sign of quality and longevity... just like having the MLS head gaskets already done. Its a selling point!

Since early 2025, all of our controllers are easily identifiable by their serialization and lasermarking. However, there are over 15 years of controllers before that which are not marked.

While I certainly recognize my own work, other people may not.

So: For anyone who bought a controller from VSP, the offer is on the table: Send your controller in, and as long as it is and can be proven to be a VSP controller via inspection and paperwork, I will lasermark and serialize controllers from the date range before we did this as standard practice.

I realize that there are costs involved in this back and forth, but having that done may be worth it depending on your next buyer!

Remember:

While others have worked on getting cheaper, I have worked on being the best, and then pushed beyond that.

This controller went through two other places, who completely half-assed everything, and the missed such obvious problems that I cannot even fathom how that was possible. Then to add insult to injury, they sent the owner of the car on a wild goose chase with their bogus diag, and damaged his ICM in the process due to piss-poor shipping.

173 broken connections. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY THREE, on top of the absolute trash work that was done, on top of a memory error. How in the actual hell do you miss all that, with literally any metric of testing possible?

You can have Cheap & Easy with a side of hope, or you can call the guy who actually knows what he is doing, and who just keeps getting better.

Your choice!

Changes incoming.

First, I am going to try to use this page more, and maybe, you know... redo the website that is decades overdue.

But that is just fluff. I have decided to bring more manufacturing in-house. I am tired of the unreliability and timelines of the industrial machining industry as a whole, and need the ability to rapid prototype again, which was largely lost after the move south to FL.

So.... new equipment coming soon. Time to add a CNC mill to the stable, along with a larger laser cutting table. There are a number of parts that I would like to bring back to the market which have disappeared over the last few decades due to my machine shop proximity, and most importantly, market vendors which have left and/or discontinued various products. I will keep my mouth shut for now until they are actually at least in the process of development... but there are a few engine parts, a couple fuel system options, a few exterior, and a few interior parts that constantly break on that list, as well as some engine "consumables" that have always been ticking timebombs. I have been sitting on the designs for years, and ultimately have never pulled the trigger because I did not have total control of the process or costs.
SO... with those processes gained, it begins to make sense.

THAT SAID.... *RANT*

While the capabilities will be gained either way, it will be up to the Viper market to decide whether or not they get produced, or whether I use that machine for alternate industries. Unfortunately the Viper market is more cost biased than ever, which is causing countless production problems. You dont drive a Dodge Neon, STOP ACTING LIKE IT, before every single manufacturer leaves you all in the lurch.

I am SURE you are all feeling the squeeze already, as parts dry up and manufacturers leave the space. If I am seeing it and getting calls about it regularly, you are all surely seeing it as well. Low production cars have low production part prices, and the market has more in common with Italian makes than the Corvette. Yet here we are being told everything is "too expensive" every five minutes, like the costs arent realistic given the situation.

Oh, but "Viper Tax!" they cry... yet not a single one ever comes to market with a cheaper option, because its not worth the investment, or there would be countless options.

Moton Motorsport 2-Way Shocks. Gen3/4/5, ACRX and Comp Coupe fitment. These are the club-sport versions big brother, built beefier with 15 clicks of Compression & Rebound adjustment instead of 7, plus ride height adjustable, of course.

Note: these are for nearly stock ride height downward. Dont think you will get anything over stock ride height on these! (Not sure why you would want that... but hey, disclaimer!)

Brand new, just a few rubs or dings from sitting in boxes. Have springs that will work, but can set up differently, take some/all... dealers choice.

7500obo. Available immediately.

Just another set of absolutely not budget friendly Gen5 oil lines out the door today 🙂

If I put profits ahead of quality... I would sell all the regular stuff too.

Give me a jingle the first time you need to deal with a galled JIC assembly ring, or a cracked inner rubber hose liner, and then I can teach you why you get what you pay for 😁

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I should probably post more *actual* business related stuff these days.

But, I am too busy drinking coffee on the couch, and GETTING CUSTOMERS BACK ON THE ROAD 🤣

These days, while there are many imitators... there is only one OCD riddled nutbag doing this work: me. Not to mention having the right tools, parts, and inventory that would make most people shake their head.

This is just another Tuesday for me, and all of these guys are getting wrapped up for return. I really dont like sh****ng all over competition (OK, I lied... I really do when its deserved. Its probably one of my favorite activities) but... one of these guys just figured out why you call me first, instead of second. That "Module Expert" nearly destroyed his core, and cost me nearly 3 grand in billable time just cleaning up their disaster because they couldn't even figure out a proper mix ratio... after they did the job wrong and screwed up all sorts of unrelated areas for the fun of it.

Go ahead, keep using those guys: make my day. Ask yourself; how good of a job do you think you are going to get, for a rate thats cheaper than the potting compound I use just to re-seal the damn thing? I WONDER.

If it sounds too good to be true, it is, and you're handing your parts to idiots. If you werent... THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO CHARGE MORE. People proficient in SMD electronics reverse engineering and repair using 25 grand in equipment [easily], arent doing jobs for minimum wage. What you are getting, is a hack with a harbor freight soldering iron and a punch-lish of guesses to try his luck on, and a tube of acid cure window caulk to tee up your next module repair in short order.

New BCM Repair Services!

As many of you know, we have been a PCM remanufacturer for going on two decades, and have been supplying the vast majority of vendors in the Viper and Ram SRT-10 markets with the highest quality replacement modules available. Unfortunately [for us!] the vast majority of our controllers are simply "silent willing participants", and nobody but the shops that sold them knew where they came from, as easy as it is for us to tell our products from the competition. Well, that changed finally in 2025, along with a few other new additions.

We are now offering BCM [Body Control Module] repair services, as these BCM's are becoming a problem now that they are discontinued. The BCM controls functions such as power windows, lights, and many relays and body related controls. They used to be a "replace it" item, with the only option being Mopar due to the VIN information factory loaded. Well, now we have the ability to actually repair these controllers, and are exploring the ability to supply full replacements as well, though that may be a while off. Gone are the days of incorrect vehicle info due to a faulty light control or power window function, and the difficulty of selling a vehicle with mis-matched information.

We also have begun the process of permanently marking all of our products, so that from now on, you can *actually confirm* you received a VSP product, and not an Ebay special.
