𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗠/𝗩 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲

Team M/V Adventure received an Outstanding Service Award from the National Association of The Bahamas last night. We would like to take a moment to thank all the volunteers, supporters, donors and NGOs that helped us serve Green Turtle Cay and other local areas in The Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian. Each and every one of you deserve this award along with us for your part in our mission.

Our mission in The Bahamas is now complete and nothing less than 100% successful. This would not have been possible without many small and large miracles that happened and all the people who came together to help. In the very hard times, it was really great to see all these wonderful people rally together for a common cause.

We are grateful that we were able to help beginning with the Adventure Cafe and our social nights at the Green Turtle Club to help bring some normalcy to the island. We then switched gears to rebuild three homes and provided building supplies to many others. Our mission evolved as we tried to help whenever we saw a need. Everything from purchasing and flying over medical supplies and equipment, helping restaurants and other businesses to reopen, R/O water production off M/V Adventure and many other projects. We had many challenges, but were able to work through them to achieve our goals. We love the people and island of Green Turtle Cay and consider it our second home.

We are currently working to get our homes and lives back together after Hurricane Ian roared through as a Cat 5 hurricane and devastated our hometown of Cape Coral, FL and surrounding areas. We are working to support our local community as much as we can.

Trading the gloves and boots for suits and dresses tonight! The team was invited to attend The National Association of The Bahamas' Annual Scholarship Gala fundraiser and were recognized with the Outstanding Service Award.

Adina and her husband (first responder) had damage to their roof and property. H.E.A.R.T. 911 stepped in to get their home water tight while Adina's husband was out serving others.

Bob and Anita had to evacuate and finally found a safe place with a friend. When they returned, they found heavy damage to their home and devastation all around. Then, 15 angels showed up to ensure their home was water tight and to clear tons of debris.

They way community is formed and strangers come together can be a beautiful thing in the midst of chaos and destruction caused by a natural disaster. We appreciate all the volunteers, the donations, and the prayers. Thank you!

Volunteers are needed today at Cape Christian Church on Chiquita Blvd. They received 11 tractor trailers of emergency supplies from FEMA that need to be unloaded.
Please bring a pallet jack if you have one!
