We would like to inform you that Japanese auction houses will be closed from April 29th through May 7th in observance of Golden Week (ゴールデンウィーク) in Japan.

What is Golden Week?

Golden Week is one of Japan’s most important and celebrated holiday periods, consisting of four national holidays: Showa Day, Constitution Memorial Day, Greenery Day, and Children’s Day. Many businesses across Japan, including auction houses, shipping companies, and government offices, close during this time to allow employees to travel and spend time with family.
