EWING CHEVROLET Ewing Chevrolet was one of the nation's oldest family owned Chevrolet dealerships. Ewing and his two sons, Floyd C. Ewing and Charles Clarence (C.C.) Ewing. C.C.

Established in 1914 in Jeromesville, Ohio (Ashland County) as part of Ewing Hardware by Clement L. Relocated to Canton, Ohio in 1931. Once the largest Chevrolet dealership in Stark County, Generations of customers were served by the dedicated employees and associates of the dealership. ing, Vice-President. David C. Ewing succeeded his father as president in 1989. Ewing bought out is former competitor Eppy's Chevrolet in 1997. In 1998 Stan received his 50-year dealer award and David his 25-year dealer award from General Motors. Ewing Chevrolet was noted for excellence in customer service and satisfaction with a 100% GM trained Service Department and Body Shop. A large Parts Department with skilled employees sold Genuine GM parts both retail and wholesale throughout North East Ohio. Ewing Chevrolet closed its doors on March 20, 2007 after selling over 100,000 vehicles and servicing Chevrolet products for 93+ years.

Remembering Larry Davis's 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS L79 327 350 hp, 4-Speed, 5.38 Positraction in Aztec Bronze with Fawn interior, and sponsored by Ewing Chevrolet. The Photo was taken in July 1966 after winning the A-Stock Championship trophy at Quaker City Dragway in Salem, Ohio. Larry drove his Nova SS, named "Toy Bear," and defeated two Hemi's, two 421 Pontiacs, and one 427 Ford to win the championship trophy pictured next to the car.

Another Ewing Chevrolet survivor was found in Royersford, PA. Bill Clemens owns this 1969 Camaro Z/28 with a rare option, JBL 4-wheel disc brakes. Only 206 Camaros had this option. Here is a link to more photos.
