Full Job Description
Our company is currently in search of an experienced property Maintenance Technician for our mobile
home community located in Canton, Ohio. The ideal person will be an experienced maintenance
technician who can work well independently as well as on a team. Possess good time management and
project management skills and have own reliable transportation.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- All facets of day-to-day maintenance operations of mobile home park: Grounds, landscaping,
general repairs
- Vacant unit turnovers.
- Preventative Maintenance.
- Kitchen & bath remodeling.
- Window and door installation.
- Basic carpentry: Drywall, floors, painting, minor roofing, electrical & plumbing.
- Unit cleanouts
- Report all property issues and potential liabilities along with recommendations for solving such
issues to Property Manager.
- Handle any emergency that may arise on the community following company policies and
procedures.
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as directed.
- Conduct regular vacant unit inspections.
- Coordinate with Manager to schedule preventative maintenance work and service requests.
- Evaluate maintenance and/or rehab operations periodically under Manager discretion to
determine cost efficiency.
- Obtain Estimates and bids for projects and rehabs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Property Management Maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience Maintenance in a mobile home community
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines.
- Available for evening and weekend emergency repairs
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Positive attitude and energetic
- Attentive to details.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to interact with a variety of people and
personality types.
- Ability to solve problems involving maintenance and emergency situations.
- Drivers license
- Authorized to work in US.
- Pass background check.
