Don’t let winter temps leave you stuck on the side of the road. A little prep goes a long way in keeping your truck running strong all season.

✅ Check your air system – Drain air tanks daily and make sure your air dryer is working properly to prevent freeze-ups.
✅ Inspect batteries & cables – Cold weather is hard on batteries. Make sure connections are clean and batteries are load-tested.
✅ Use the right fluids – Verify coolant protection levels and use winter-grade fuel or anti-gel additives.
✅ Inspect tires – Cold temps drop tire pressure. Check PSI regularly and look for uneven wear or damage.
✅ Test your heater & defroster – Visibility and cab heat aren’t optional in winter driving.
✅ Check belts, hoses & seals – Cold makes weak parts fail faster.
✅ Carry emergency supplies – Extra fuel additive, air line de-icer, gloves, flashlight, and basic tools can save your day.
