One of the greatest benefits of being a member of Freedom Boat Club of Rochester & the Finger Lakes is the incredible access to unique lakeside experiences. Today, I had the pleasure of stopping by JP’s Wine & Beer Tap Room for their 2026 season grand opening. Located right on Canandaigua Lake near the City Pier, it’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and soak in the waterfront atmosphere.

If you’re out on the water this weekend, make sure to stop by and support this fantastic local destination—conveniently located just across from Freedom Boat Club Canandaigua. Experiences like these are what make boating in the Finger Lakes so special.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Today on the water, safety remains part of that freedom. Our member is geared up with a life jacket and ECOS attached — because every safe boating day starts with preparation.
