Chasing SS Cars We Are doing 5 Vintage Steel Swap Meet 2025 Chasing SS Cars is what we do. Well, actually we spend alot of time chasing SS parts too. It was, I swear!

Along the way we have picked up some beautiful SS restoration projects and a few other cars that looked like they really wanted to come home with us as well. We are real suckers for a shiny pair of headlights and a little bit of gleaming chrome. We used to just drag neglected cars and parts home on the weekends but it was taking up too much of our weekend and we didn't have enough time to spend wo

rking on the cars so we both quit our jobs. It's ok if you are sadly shaking your head right now - all of our friends and family think we're nuts too. Did I mention our first date was to a junkyard? Well, anyway, now we devote most all of our time to restoring the cars we've chased all over Virginia and when we are done we will sell them (hopefully) and move on to the next. We use original parts whenever possible as they are far superior to aftermarket parts and the restoration process starts at the frame and goes up from there. If there is a car that we have that you are interested in and would like it finished in a certain way - we can certainly work with you on that as we do all of our own body work, paint, interior and mechanical.

This will be the 50th Year for the Show At Veterains Memorial Park in Mount Airy NC. Started out as A 3 Day Swap Meet and car show in 1976! Run by different people and car clubs. Now Chasing SS Cars, Erik Herdman, And supposed many awesome vendors, Car show supporters, spectators, business sponsors, Has made it grow bigger and better!! Thanks to everyone that supports and attends!!
