All Atv trails North of Calumet will remain closed.

There is a lot of snow and water on the Atv trails and they won't be officially opened until May 15th, to reduce costly damage.

As many of you know, the dedicated team at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at Houghton County Memorial Airport have continued to show up every single day—keeping our community safe and travel moving—despite working without pay for over 40 days.

Their commitment to our airport and our passengers has not gone unnoticed, and now it’s our turn to show up for them.
We are organizing a donation effort to support our local TSA employees during this challenging time. If you’re able, please consider contributing to help these hardworking individuals and their families. There are currently ten (10) TSA employees working at CMX.

Donation Guidelines:
• No cash donations
• Gift cards only (grocery stores, gas stations, or restaurants)
• No Visa or prepaid credit card gift cards
• Gift cards must be in the amount of $10 or $20. $20 is the max allowable per card.
• Any items outside of these guidelines cannot be accepted

Drop-Off Location:
Donations can be accepted at the airport operations counter. You can access airport operations from inside the terminal, or by using the door to the left of the main terminal entrance when walking in from the parking lot. You can drop off donations Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. If you need something outside of these days/times, contact the airport and we could work something out.

Every contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference and is greatly appreciated.

Let’s come together as a community and support those who support us every day.
