Service Writer/Advisor

Cowboy Trailers has been in business for 38 years and looking for an experienced service writer/advisor. Would prefer someone with RV or Trailer experience but will consider experienced service writers in other industries. Must be Computer literate and have great customer service skills and abilities. This is a full time position. Open for business 8-5 Monday – Friday.

Duties:
- Assist customers in troubleshooting issues and/or scheduling repairs
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as necessary
- Greet customers, gathers information on repairs needed, takes photos if necessary
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in order to stay current with rapidly changing RV and trailer designs
- Computer entry of repair order and closure of repair order with all necessary information.
- Keep customers informed and updated on status of repairs.
- Follow established repair order process to satisfactory and timely completion.
- Ensure preauthorization, filing and submission of warranty claims in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
- Previous work experience with RV’s/Trailers or in the automotive industry
- Good computer skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills to resolve issues in a professional manner over the phone or in person.
