Meet Krystle. A veteran, a servant leader, and our first Hero of the Month.

She served 6 years in the Army, where she met her husband, a fellow veteran and Purple Heart recipient, while stationed together in South Korea. They built a life in service, side by side.

When Krystle transitioned to civilian life, she understood firsthand what that journey looks like. The PTSD. The uncertainty. The feeling of losing the identity that came with the uniform. So instead of stepping away, she stepped toward it.

She relocated to Texas and began working for the Texas Veterans Commission as the Director of the Women's Veterans Program. She volunteered with the Wounded Warrior Project, Combined Arms, United Way, and nearly every veteran nonprofit she could find, all while earning multiple degrees. She then started her own nonprofit to fill the gaps, providing financial assistance and mental health support to veterans in her community. She mentors young women who want to be the change. A mother of five, she has never stopped pouring into the people around her.

In her own words, she loves helping people. Having lived that life of service, she knows what comes after it. It is near and dear to her heart.

Krystle, you have spent your entire life showing up for others. Today, we get to show up for you. Welcome to the Camping World family. We cannot wait to make your dream of hitting the open road a reality.
