Great start to the day. Found the gremlins plaguing this Infiniti q40. No power to awd control module. Traced the short to the main body connector in harness. The power supply pin shorted and corroded out of the connector. New wire and pin and we should be a-okay!!

13th dash job down👌👌. 2012 f250, a/c not blowing hard or cold. Diagnosed it as a bad evap core due to extreme dirt and debri. These trucks come factory without a cabin air filter and stoped up evap cores plague these fords. New evap and a good clean and it’s A1!!

This customer had an intermittent abs light come on with a wheel speed code. They replaced the sensor but had no luck, so they called Elroy’s automotive to get an accurate diagnosis. After inspecting the vehicle I found a cracked tone ring on the passenger axle and a very leaky oil pan.
The tone ring is press fit onto the axle and most shops will try to sell you a whole axle assembly witch can be very pricey. we seen no reason to replace the axle so we saved the customer some time and money by installing a new tone ring.
The car is all fixed up and ready for all the miles it that can be put on it!!!

This customer had a stubborn o2 sensor that another mechanic tried to remove and stripped the sensor as well as severely damaging it. They called Elroy’s Automotive to get the job done right. with a little bit of time and brainstorming, we got the old sensor removed and replaced with a new denso sensor.

We do more than just change parts! We like to go a step further than most shops and provided an in-depth diagnosis of the issue. Customer had intermittent heat on the driver side vents, pulled codes and had short to ground for left blend door actuator. We removed actuator to find corrosion internally on the position sensor and motor contacts. We could not get an actuator and the customer needed the truck back asap, so we cleaned all the corrosion and reassembled. Now the customer can drive the truck with the a/c working properly while we wait for a new actuator.
