An Unfortunate Afternoon and Long Night for this Couple.

After a beautiful day riding out to the glacier, the couple headed back toward Jim Creek Trailhead. On the way, they drove through what appeared to be an innocent body of water — only to discover it was a deep trap that completely submerged their machine.
Once we arrived, we winched the SxS out of the water. It briefly started, then died. After a thorough diagnostic, we determined the it was not getting fuel. Unable to restart it, we towed the vehicle back to the trailhead.

Hopefully they have been able to get their SxS running again!
