This super clean 6.7 Powerstroke Alumiduty rolled into NextGen Customs for some tasteful upgrades, and man, this thing is sharp! 😮‍💨

This truck definitely turned some heads while it was here. We had a ton of compliments from customers and even people passing by the shop!

I’m no engineer, but I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to be one piece. 😂

This 5.9 Cummins decided to turn its flex plate into a 3-piece puzzle. 🧩💀

The good news? We found the problem.

The bad news? We’re gonna need more than a tube of JB Weld for this one. 🤣

This 6.4 HEMI came in with a coolant leak that led us to an EGR cooler hose buried underneath the intake manifold. 🔧

While we had it apart, we found something a little more concerning… not ONE intake manifold bolt was tight. 😳 The truck had apparently been running like that for almost a year!

We got the coolant leak taken care of, installed new intake gaskets, threw in a fresh set of spark plugs while we were there, and gave everything a good cleanup before putting it back together.

Sometimes fixing the original problem is only half the job. Catching the other issues while you’re in there is what keeps a small repair from turning into a big one. 👍

Another one cleaned up, fixed right, and ready to keep working for years to come. 💪

This LML Duramax is getting an AirDog lift pump and Beans Diesel sump! 🔧💪

If you own a Duramax, a lift pump is one of the best upgrades you can make to the fuel system.

From the factory, the injection pump has to pull fuel all the way from the tank. An AirDog helps by pushing a steady supply of clean fuel up to the engine instead.

That means:

💨 Less air in the fuel
⛽ Better fuel flow
🧼 Better filtration
💪 Less stress on the injection pump
🔥 Plenty of fuel for future upgrades

The Beans Diesel sump also gives the AirDog a nice, steady supply of fuel straight from the bottom of the tank.

Simple upgrade. Better fuel supply. Extra protection for some VERY expensive parts.

Customer states: “I think the batteries might be dead…” 🔋🤔

Yeah… about that. 💀

Turns out the batteries were the least of this 6.7 Powerstroke’s problems — the engine is LOCKED UP. 😬

And after seeing what came out of the oil pan, this one didn’t exactly require an extensive diagnosis to figure out what happened. 😂

Maintenance has left the chat. 👋

When your engine oil looks more like roofing tar than 10W-30, the damage has already been done.

🔧 Oil changes are cheap. Engines aren’t.
Maintain it now or pay a LOT more later. 😂

This 2015 6.7 Powerstroke came in needing some permanent emissions repairs before making the move to Texas. The goal was simple — get everything taken care of now so the customer can make the trip and start the next chapter without worrying about the truck. 💪

📱 Larger touchscreen radio with wireless Apple CarPlay while retaining the factory functions & controls
📸 Added a backup camera since this truck wasn’t equipped with one from the factory
