Florida Karting Series and Callahan Speedway have jointly agreed to move this weekend’s event. All pre-registrations will carry over.

Obviously the weather isn't looking in our favor at this point. We understand the diesel, gas, work, time, plans, family and other priorities. For that reason we will make a call at 11am Thursday on The Florida Karting Series page. This should give you time to cancel hotels if need be. If this weekend is rained out, we will utilize the rain date of June 13th at Callahan Speedway. Rain is not a racers friend and we understand that although the rain date has been scheduled since the season schedule was announced last year, this will effect some of your plans. We hope the weather turns in our favor. But will use the June 13th rain date if need be. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

🐘 The elephant in the room:
We have the same weather apps as you. We have hotels, time off of work, and other things going on as well. If you're from Florida, you already know about our summer weather, it's here. It is pretty much 50% chance each day from here until September. Rain on one side of the street, not on the other. However, the last visit to Callahan Speedway saw weather. But it also saw, David Hicken and his crew give us a great track to race on. As well, David has additional equipment on hand since the last race if need be. That being said, we'll leave it in the capable hands of the Hickens and the staff at Callahan Speedway. We'll see yall Friday and Saturday!

Mississippi's Henley Sanford is the reigning FKS Jr3 CHAMPION. On May 30th at Callahan Speedway he'll be gunning for 3 Championship's, Jr3, Pro Jr3, and Semi-Pro! He's picked up multiple wins this year to include the B-Main at The JK79!

Looking to become a Triple Crown Champion, he'll have that TJ Newton Motorsports, Prowler Racing Chassis, Southern Farms, S&S Express, Radical Racing Engines kart as fast as it can be to grab all 3 championships!

Melrose Florida Ace Gage Steiner rolls into Callahan Speedway on May 30th as the points leader of Jr3. He's already a multi time champion and will be looking for his first Florida Karting Series Championship during championship weekend! No stranger to championships or pressure filled races as he's already won 2 Kimball's, he'll be looking to finish his season strong in his Charger Racing Chassis with Radical Racing Engines power plant!

He'll be using the momentum he gained after winning at The Speedway Park and jumping to the top of the points at the last stop of the 2026 FKS Season. He'll be reaching down deep to fend off the rest of the field to claim his first FKS Championship!

To say that points are close heading into The Final Race of the 2026 FKS series with Southern Farms at Callahan Speedway on May 30th would be a tremendous understatement! All classes are still up for grabs! TOP 5's! TOP 3's! CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Jr3 has the TOP 6 separated by just 9 points! It's literally anyone's championship to win!
