It’s a bittersweet day for us. 💔

You may have seen this photo circulating of the signs going up, and while it’s hard to say goodbye, we’re incredibly grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years.

We will be closed today as we set up, but starting tomorrow we’ll be opening our doors with some great deals inside as we prepare for our closing.

About Us

Rocky’s Great Outdoors first opened its doors in 1971. Originally, we opened as a motorcycle parts and accessories store in Michigan when “Rocky” (and yes, there really is a real “Rocky”) had a challenging time finding, at a fair price, the parts and accessories that he wanted for his motorcycles.

During the first 20 years, we were primarily a motorcycle parts and accessory store, but soon branched out into the outdoor category. Today, we offer gear for camping, archery, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. We also carry snowmobile parts and accessories, plus all the gear that the enthusiast needs for these activities. We offer a unique line of leather jackets, motocross gear, and helmets. We have one of the largest selections of Carhartt clothing in the county, including medical scrubs, outside workwear, and boots and shoes for the working men and women!

Rocky’s is a family-owned store and we take pride in presenting a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and an exciting shopping experience for all. People come in daily to view our antique motorcycles we have displayed throughout the store. Come join us for our Free Motorcycle Museum. You will see some amazing treasures and perhaps relive some old memories.
