Aftermarket downpipe going in. Here's why it matters:
The downpipe is the first section of exhaust right after the turbo β and the factory piece is a major restriction, with tight bends and a smaller diameter that choke exhaust flow. An aftermarket downpipe opens that up with a wider, smoother path, so exhaust gases exit faster. That means the turbo spools quicker, holds boost more efficiently, and frees up power and torque β especially up top. You also get a deeper, more aggressive note. On a boosted car, it's one of the best bang-for-buck upgrades you can make β especially paired with a supporting tune to take full advantage of the added flow.
