TRESSER'S TOWING in Burlingame is looking for tow truck and flat bed operators to join our busy and professional work family. TRESSER'S TOWING is family owned and operated going strong, and is in its 55th year of business.
Positions are available now. Experience is a plus but not necessary. We are willing to train the right person. Every workday provides new experiences and opportunities.
We provide classic and exotic car tows, motorcycle tows, law enforcement towing and impounds, private property impounds, emergency road service, accident and or abandoned vehicle recovery, and account and auto club towing (not AAA).
Pay depends on level of experience.

Medical and dental benefits offered.

This is 24/7 business so there are on-call nights and weekends in addition to your day shift and you must be flexible to work overtime if needed.

Requirements:

-Must have a clean DMV (please submit a DMV printout with your application from within the last 30 days)

-Must have a clean and valid Class C CA driver's license

-Must have a clean criminal history

-Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check

-Submit to pre-employment drug testing as well as random testing during employment

-Be able to problem solve and analyze situations

-Have basic math skills

-Be physically able to lift heavy objects, kneel, crouch, and push vehicles (this is a physically demanding job)

-Have attention to detail

-This is a customer service based industry so you must have good communication and people skills

-Be an honest, trustworthy, and dedicated person

-Have good personal hygiene and appearance

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Transporting vehicles for customers

-Doing service calls such as lockouts, flat tires, jump starts, etc.

-Completing paperwork

-Maintain cleanliness of your truck
