Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
If you haven't heard the rumor, Ray Ray's Cycle is closing. I have a couple bikes in the shop that I will be finishing in the next couple of weeks.
What an experience. The most amazing thing that happened to me was meeting my beautiful wife Valerie. I can't imagine my life without you. All the busted knuckles, sore muscles and stress, was nothing if that was the path that led to you. I can't wait to just go for a ride with you again. Thank you!
My kids, Jackie, Jacob, Bay Bay and Logan. It would be a looooong list to mention all the things you all have done for me to make "the shop" what it was. Not only did you guys jump in and help, but you never made me feel guilty for all the time I wasn't at home, because I was at the Firehouse or the shop. I've been working 100 hours a week for the last 10 years plus. I'm aware of the time I've lost with y'all and that will weigh on me for the rest of my life. I'm so proud of who you all are and part of that is because what you had to be because of the shop. What a double edged sword that is. Thank you!
None of it would have happened without my mentor Lee. I didn't spend much time with him in the end. The last time I saw him he told me he was proud of what we built. I still ask myself daily WWLD (What Would Lee Do). Usually the answer is "dig in and get dirty fixing it, the fu***ng thing was broke already, it can't get worse." Amazing how much of life that advice applies to. I miss you and think of you daily friend. Thank you!
I could go on and on about the relationships that I formed. Many many of y'all have became friends, Only a few of you became foes. That's a pretty good ratio. It could have been better, but that knowledge comes with age and now I have that. If you've been an investor, customer, coworker, vendor, associate, neighbor, club member or just stopped in to talk bikes, I cherish you. The level of trust that each of you put into this little idea of mine is humbling. Thank you!
I have some inventory and equipment that I will be getting rid of. I have 31 tires that I will sell all together, the Dyno and related hardware and software. I will not sell any of it individually. Buhler Gas Co. will continue to operate as it has over the last year. Look for it to expand into the vacant space created by closing the cycle shop.
Again, I can't thank you ALL enough for your support over the last 10 years or so,
What a Ride...
Ray Ray
