Flat tires don't wait for good weather, and neither did these seniors! 🛞

Recently, we had the opportunity to teach BVHS seniors how to change a flat tire. Two seniors helped us run the lesson, and it was awesome watching everyone go from "never done this" to confident in one afternoon. It's a real-world skill we think every driver needs! 💯

Meet Riley, a BVHS junior who just joined our OTJ (On the Job) Training Program here at Annex Automotive! He's working through an OSHA approved automotive training program, learning the ropes from our experienced team. Plus, he gets to work on the cars he loves most: Ford and Lincoln. 🚗

Attention BVHS Students, Families, & Community! 🚗🔧

Annex Automotive, proud partner of BVHS's OJT Program, is offering the BVHS community a FREE Vehicle Inspection ($150 value), a win-win where you get your car checked out while helping BVHS students gain hands-on training under our certified mechanics.

Here's what our 32-point inspection covers:
• Checking oil, coolant, and battery health
• Inspecting pad wear, rotors, and tread depth
• Testing headlights, brake lights, and turn signals
• Scanning for wear and any fluid leaks
• A detailed vehicle health report signed off by a certified technician!

How to claim your free inspection:
✅ Reserve Your Spot: Schedule online or call us at least 48 hours in advance. For added convenience, we can even pick up your vehicle directly from BVHS upon request!
✅ Verify ID: Arrive for your appointment and present a valid BVHS student ID or faculty badge. (Note: For families, your student must be present at check-in).

We pride ourselves on being here for the Buena Vista community year-round. While we normally stay open through all major holidays—including Christmas and New Year's—to keep you safely on the road, we are taking a special opportunity this Labor Day to let our incredible employees enjoy some well-deserved time off with their families.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM ANNEX AUTOMOTIVE REGARDING COLORADO FIRE BANS 🚨

To our valued Chaffee County community and surrounding neighbors,

As you know, almost all of Colorado is currently under a Stage 2 fire ban, with Stage 3 restrictions in several areas to help contain the major wildfires across our state. Due to this severe drought, we all need to do our part—and Annex Automotive is stepping up to ensure we keep our community safe.

Because vehicles contain fuel, combustible chemicals, and high-voltage systems, working on them in the field leaves too much room for error right now. Complying with hazmat regulations and extreme fire safety measures is our top priority. Annex Automotive will not take any risks that could contribute to a local wildfire.

⚠️ Temporary Service Changes:
To do our part, all mobile and on-site emergency services are placed ON HOLD until the fires are contained and the Stage 2 bans are lifted.

What this means for your repairs:
Effective immediately, ALL vehicles MUST be brought to our shop. This ensures your vehicle is repaired in a fully contained, safe, and controlled environment away from dry brush and vulnerable landscapes.

We value our clients immensely and apologize for any inconvenience this temporary change may cause. However, protecting our employees, our neighbors, and our beautiful natural wildlife must come first.

Thank you for your understanding, your continued support, and for helping us keep Colorado safe! Please call the shop if you need to schedule an appointment or arrange to have your vehicle brought in.

An Important Update from the Annex Automotive Family (PLEASE READ)

To our wonderful Buena Vista community and loyal clients,

We want to share some big personal news, as well as an honest update on how it will impact our shop's operations in the coming weeks.

First, we are incredibly overjoyed to welcome our firstborn child into the world! However, following the birth, my wife has experienced serious medical complications. As she is currently facing a difficult recovery, and I am her only family and primary caregiver, my top priority right now must be taking care of her and our new baby during these trying times.

Because of this, I will need to restrict the amount of hours I am physically present in the shop.

As many of you know, we take immense pride in the quality of our work. However, despite running hiring ads since March, we have been unsuccessful in bringing on another certified service technician. Right now, our small team consists only of myself, our receptionist, and our trainee. Because I am the only fully licensed technician, business owner, and customer relations leader here, our capacity will temporarily be limited.

We are asking for our community’s patience, grace, and understanding as we navigate this challenging chapter. We value your business and your trust more than words can say, and we promise to do our absolute best to handle your automotive needs, even if things take just a little bit longer than usual.
