IHRA Makes $10 Million Donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Strengthening Commitment to Meaningful Community Impact

MEMPHIS, TN — The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA), under the leadership of owner Darryl Cuttell, has made a $10 million charitable donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, reinforcing IHRA’s commitment to serving communities not only through entertainment and shared experiences, but through support that truly changes lives.

Earlier today, IHRA leadership had the opportunity to tour the St. Jude campus, gaining firsthand insight into the hospital’s groundbreaking research, patient care programs, and the compassionate environment that supports children and families from around the world.

In addition to the donation, IHRA announced its intent to collaborate with St. Jude on future fundraising initiatives designed to expand awareness and generate additional support for the hospital’s mission: ensuring that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay.

“This donation is made on behalf of IHRA, but it is also deeply personal to me,” said Cuttell. “I lived in Memphis for a period of my life, close to St. Jude, and through friends who were medical providers there, I heard firsthand stories of the compassion, innovation, and hope that define this extraordinary institution. Touring the facility today further reinforced just how impactful their work truly is.”

For IHRA, the partnership reflects a broader philosophy of community engagement.

“Our events bring people together and create memorable experiences for families,” Cuttell added. “Partnering with St. Jude allows us to deepen our impact — supporting families not just with moments of joy, but with meaningful treatment, care, and hope when it matters most.”

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for advancing cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases and for freely sharing its discoveries with the global medical community to improve care worldwide.

Additional details regarding IHRA and St. Jude collaborative initiatives will be announced in the coming months.

We hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year! We’ve been busy running with the holidays and stuck at home with sickness in the past 2-3 weeks. But we have a few weekends that are set for the 2026 race season! As we get closer to April we’ll be able to add more races. We’re excited for another season at Dragway 42! And if you’ve never been to a “Big money race” you absolutely have to come out for the Lil Bucks Hootenanny Races LLC event in June! This has become one of our favorite events ever!!

Hope everyone is doing well! Just posting a few new pictures from the season and probably a few we’ve already added. Nothing new going on around here yet, besides being sick!☹️ Hopefully beginning of ‘26 we’ll start to have some more news to share! We can’t wait for warmer weather and weekends at the track! I say it every time I post here but I will start posting more! We’ve done some racing this year and won some rounds but most importantly enjoyed time with close friends. While most know now I figured I’d share here. Friday evening we pulled this one out of hiding and into the shop for some attention. After 14 years of sitting we’re breathing some life into her! The next 2 weeks will be busy getting everything ready but we’re planning for September 20th at Dragway 42 for a return!
