We are a proud family owned and operated repair shop specializing in automotive and light duty truck

Nelcars' founder is Nelson Sanchez, for 17 years he has single handedly operated a successful repair facility. Due to recent events the business has now proceeded down the family. Being of Hispanic heritage, we pride ourselves in our Hispanic community offering home like conversations and assistance. Our current goal is to offer this same homelike hospitality to everyone. El fundador de Nelcars es Nelson Sánchez, durante 17 años ha operado sin ayuda una instalación de reparación exitosa. "Took my car in for breaks and from the front desk to the service techs I was treated like an old customer. I felt well cared for and will be using them in the future."

"Recently my truck broke down and I figured it was the end of it. When I brought the title to Nelcars I was beyond upset. They saw how upset I was and took the time to see what was wrong. Sebastian on his own time and parts and supplies fixed it for me and wouldn't take a penny from me. . When he called I was thinking what now he's like you really care about your truck and I never see anyone care about anything anymore so I took the time to look at your truck. It's running and has been for an hour. I almost fell over. I'm a cancer survivor who's dealt with dying 3x I can't tell you how good this made me feel, so I brought him my other vehicle and of course he fixed it right. If you need vehicle repair this is the best place in Frederick County. I came from Germantown and I WILL BE BACK WHEN I NEED REPAIRS. Thank you Nelcars your kind and caring ways are very rare today."

I am a firm believer that to be a great Technician you have to always find the source of the problem! Sometimes we're to eager to find a problem that we don't properly find the root cause. This is a simple example of that.
Someone could of checked with the tool and said "oh it's probably bad plugs"
Always test your tests!!!

Sometimes it is that simple.
KISS method... Keep It Simple Stupid 🤣

The customer was extremely happy it was that simple!

"I had a brake issue and needed my car fixed the same day before a trip. With just one call, they understood my concerns, fit me into their schedule, and had my car running safely by the end of the day!

Not to mention, everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. I’m so happy to have found my new auto shop and to be able to support a local business. Highly recommend! ❤️"
