This vehicle came in with a brake concern, and after inspection we found the real issue:

a sticking brake caliper.

Because the caliper was not moving correctly, it caused **uneven brake pad wear, excess heat, and rotor damage**.

This customer came in with a brake concern, and once we inspected the system, we found the real cause:

A seized caliper slide pin.

When a caliper slide pin stops moving freely, the caliper can apply pressure unevenly. That can cause one brake pad to wear differently than the other, create excess heat, and damage the rotor.

You can see the difference in the brake pads and the uneven contact on the rotor.

This customer came in with noise from the front of the vehicle. During our inspection, we found that both CV axles showed wear, but one side was clearly worse and making the most noise.

🛑 “I Think My Brakes Are Missing Something…”

Well… he wasn't wrong.

A customer came in because his brake pedal felt softer than usual and he had to pump it several times to get the vehicle to stop properly.

We took a look and found something you definitely don't want to find:

👉 The brake pad on this side was completely MISSING. 😳

And by then, the damage had already been done.

The rotor was damaged beyond the point where it could be safely resurfaced, and the caliper also needed replacement.

So we:

🔧 Replaced the damaged caliper
🛑 Replaced the damaged rotor
🔧 Installed new brake pads
✅ Got the braking system back in proper working condition

Here's something many people don't know: we don't automatically replace every rotor.

If a rotor is still within specifications and its condition allows it, resurfacing may be an option. We inspect and measure it first.

This one? There wasn't anything left to save. 🤦🏻‍♂️
