This last month has been really hard with a lot of emotions. Sadness, anger, frustration, anxiety,optimism…. Today brought this chapter to an end. 16 1/2 years Jeff and I have been Jeff Savage Auto Refinishing. We have raised three girls from our shop, None of them know anything different. Victoria has been there from the start. She wasn’t even a year old when we signed our very first lease all those years ago. I can’t count how many vehicles or customers we have had. Not all have stuck around but many have become like family. We are on to a new chapter, not quite sure where it will take us but headed forward. We closed the doors one last time this afternoon at 2:30 pm. Having spent countless hours in that building. We have worked , played , had cookouts, and birthday parties.

It is with a sad but hopeful heart that we need to let all of our Followers and Customers know that effective Tuesday, September 30, 2025 we will be closing Jeff Savage Auto Refinishing. Due to a changing of ownership of our current building we will no longer have use of this facility. We are hopeful fr the future and want to thank all current and former customers for their trust and loyalty to us and our ability to help with your vehicle repair needs.

We ask that due to the short time we have to finalize everything, that any concerns/ thoughts or offers of help/ assistance go through Jacqui via facebook, and that you refrain from dropping by at the shop at this time. With the little time we have left Jeff needs to devote his attention to finishing the work we have as well as consolidating and moving of all of our tools and items. He will not be available to talk etc.

Jacqui will update this page as we have further news on if and when we reopen in a new facility or where Jeff ends up. We are hopeful that with his 35+ years of experience that he has multiple opportunities and we look forward in finding the right fit for our family.

Jacqui also has new opportunities on the horizon as well as continuing her multiple hats taking care of all of our family and children's needs.

We again want to thank all of you for supporting us through the last 16 years of business. It is truly one of our largest sadnesses that we will no longer be able to see and help our amazing customers. As many of you have become like family. Many of you have seen us through lots of life changes including both pregnancies and births of our two oldest girls, Victoria and Ruthie, and our sudden but great final addition to our family with Nailani just a few years ago. As well as the many back and forth with Jacqui in and out of the office due to the changing needs of our growing family.

It’s National Women’s Equality Day!!! We are co-owned and ran by a woman. We do all we can to make women feel safe, heard and helped in our shop. In a business that is often biased and uncomfortable for women we strive to be an open door for all including all of our women customers. Let your female friends and family know that we at Jeff Savage Auto Refinishing are here to help in a safe and courteous environment.
Jacqui does most of our estimates and is almost always in our office to help you with your needs. (Unless she’s wearing her other hat as Mom).

Jeff and I have taken in one of Victoria’s friends since the end of school due to her being kicked out days after she turned 18. She came from a pretty rough raising and hasn’t had any support getting ready for college.
She has gotten most of her tuition and board taken care of from scholarships and grants to Ball State. And has taken a small loan out for the remainder. She is also going to do a work study throughout to have a little bit of money to live on.
I have walked her through most of this and she has worked all year and all summer putting away quite a bit of money for a teenager. She has been able to cover her textbooks and all of her basic necessities for her dorm room. She and I have spent many hours making lists and shopping for the best deals.
She still has a few things on her wishlist, mostly things to make things feel more like home. I also would love to put together a food/snack care package for her as she only gets 18 meals a week through school. A couple friends have donated some to help with whatever she still needs but if anyone would be willing to help it would be hugely appreciated. I would like to be able to take her next week still having some money in her account so she has some for emergencies before she gets her job.
I have put her wishlist from Amazon below if anyone would like to get her something or you can PayPal/ Venmo to put towards her food budget. Thanks in advance.
