Don't let an overheated engine keep you from an epic mountain drive. If you do experienc e an overheated engine: turn your A/C to high Heat to pull heat away from the engine, pull over in a safe location, and turn off the car. Wait at least 15-30 minutes for it to cool down and do not open the coolant cap. The fluid may be pressurized and can cause burns.
