TRY THIS BEFORE YOUR NEXT ROAD TRIP 🚗💨

Before you load the cooler, crank up the playlist and hit the highway, give your vehicle a quick once-over.

✅ Check your tire pressure — including the spare.
✅ Look at your tread for uneven wear or bald spots.
✅ Check your oil and make sure you’re not overdue for a change.
✅ Top off your fluids — especially coolant and windshield washer fluid.
✅ Test your battery if it’s getting older or has been slow to start.
✅ Listen to your brakes. Squealing, grinding or vibration deserves attention before a long drive.
✅ Make sure all your lights work — headlights, brake lights and turn signals.
✅ Take a quick look underneath. Fresh drips or wet spots are worth checking out before you leave town.

And one people forget…

Drive it around town before the trip and pay attention. If it’s pulling, shaking, running hotter than usual or just doesn’t feel right, don’t wait until you’re 200 miles from home to figure out why.

A few minutes in the driveway can save you hours on the side of the road.

🇺🇸 FUN FACT FRIDAY: The Document That Still Shapes America

On September 17, 1787, delegates gathered in Philadelphia to sign a document that would help define the future of a brand-new nation: the United States Constitution.

More than two centuries later, it’s still the foundation of our federal government.

But here are a few things you may not know… 👇

🇺🇸 Only 39 delegates actually signed it.
Although 55 delegates attended the Constitutional Convention at various times, 39 ultimately signed the finished document.

📜 It begins with three of the most recognizable words in American history:
“We the People…”

⚖️ The original Constitution created three branches of government — legislative, executive and judicial — designed with checks and balances so that no single branch would hold all the power.

🖋️ The original document contained just seven articles.
Since then, only 27 amendments have been added — including the first 10, known as the Bill of Rights.

🌎 And perhaps the most incredible fact:
The U.S. Constitution is widely recognized as the oldest written national constitution still in continuous use today.

Every year on September 17, Constitution Day commemorates the signing of this remarkable document in 1787.

Nearly 240 years later, four simple words still say so much:

We the People. 🇺🇸

MOST DRIVERS DON’T KNOW THESE… 👀

A few little things your vehicle does can tell you a LOT before a bigger repair shows up.

⚠️ Steering wheel shaking at certain speeds?
Could be tire balance, alignment or suspension related.

⚠️ Vehicle pulling to one side?
Don’t automatically blame the road. Alignment, tire pressure or suspension could be the culprit.

⚠️ Clicking when you turn?
That can be a sign of a worn CV joint.

⚠️ Squealing when you brake?
Your brakes may be giving you an early warning before things get more expensive.

⚠️ Bouncing more than once after a bump?
Your shocks or struts may be worn.

⚠️ Uneven tire wear?
Your tires could be telling you there’s an alignment or suspension issue long before you actually feel it.

Your vehicle usually gives you clues before something fails — the trick is knowing when to listen.

Lifted trucks look tough, but are they riding as smooth as they should?

A lift kit can completely change the look and capability of your truck, but if the suspension, shocks, tires and alignment aren’t matched correctly, that aggressive stance can come with a rough, bouncy ride.

Little checks can prevent BIG repairs. 🔧

Pop your hood every once in a while. Seriously — you don’t have to be a mechanic to catch something before it becomes an expensive problem.

Take a quick look for:
• Fresh wet spots or leaks
• Cracked, swollen or loose hoses
• Frayed or worn belts
• Corrosion around your battery terminals
• Fluids that look unusually low
• Anything hanging loose or looking out of place
• New smells, sounds or warning lights you haven’t noticed before

You don’t have to know exactly what you’re looking at. The important part is noticing when something looks different.

A small leak, loose connection or worn hose may be a simple fix today — but ignoring it can sometimes turn into overheating, a breakdown or a much bigger repair bill later.

And if you spot something that doesn’t look right, snap a picture or bring it by. We’d much rather take a look at something small than see you stranded on the side of the road later.
