Some upgrades are worth the money. An oiled air filter? We’re not convinced.

They’re often sold as a performance upgrade, but the oil from the filter can make its way onto the mass airflow sensor and create problems you didn’t have before. That’s not much of an upgrade.

For Fall Car Care Month, here’s one of the easiest things you can do yourself: pay attention to the ground underneath your truck.

A new spot where you normally park can be an early sign that something is leaking. Engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, fuel, and other fluids can all leave different clues, but figuring out exactly where that fluid is coming from takes a closer look.

The important part is noticing the change. A small leak today can become a bigger problem if the fluid level continues dropping or the underlying issue gets worse.
