Well, it never seems too amazing, I moved here to the Gainesville rural area from Palm Beach. Go figure the Hurricanes just follow me. One good thing about it is that they dissolve the crazy heat. 5 a.m., about every 20 minutes since midnight winds have picked up. Between 3am and 5am has been 70, 80 gusting to 90-100 mph. Not bad at all conditions here in North Central Florida are really different than Palm Beach. I think South Florida is just wide open to a major Hurricane, living down south going through 7 major Hurricanes and 2 Hurricanes that are on the edge of disaster. 140 winds are out of the question, when they are sustained at 140 gusting to 170, which will put you on the edge of your seat.
