We recently had the opportunity to send our very own Eric and Chris Tate to Spartanburg, South Carolina, for a few days dedicated to performance, engineering, and automotive history!
Both brothers spent the majority of their automotive careers with BMW, earning their factory-trained Master Technician certifications along the way. But even with decades of combined experience, there’s always something new to learn.
The highlight? A full day at the BMW Performance Driving School center, pushing the M2, M3, M4, and M5 to their limits under the guidance of BMW’s professional driving instructors.
They also toured BMW’s Spartanburg manufacturing facility, explored 40 years of M3 history at BMW CCA Foundation, and visited the team at TBR Automotive.
For Eric, this trip was especially meaningful. Nearly 20 years ago, he earned an opportunity to attend BMW M School while working at a dealership, but the experience never materialized.
We’re proud that Team-One was finally able to make it happen, and even better, that he got to share it with his brother.
