Toby breaks down the Morel MDSP lineup—four amplifiers with built-in digital signal processing to help you upgrade your sound without a separate DSP.

Whether you’re keeping your factory radio, building a hidden system in a classic car, or going fully active, here’s a quick look at your options:

▪️ MDSP 6-4A: Compact four-channel amplifier with a six-channel DSP and built-in Bluetooth. A great option for tight spaces, hot rods, and builds without a head unit.

▪️ MDSP 8-4A: Four channels of amplification at 80 watts per channel, plus an eight-channel DSP. Power your front and rear speakers or run an active two-way component setup, with room to add a separate subwoofer amp.

▪️ MDSP 8-6A: Six amplified channels delivering 80 watts × 2 and 160 watts × 4 at 4 ohms. Different power outputs give you options for tweeters, midwoofers, and rear speakers.

▪️ MDSP 10-8A: Eight amplified channels delivering 80 watts × 4 and 160 watts × 4, paired with a ten-channel DSP for more extensive active systems and subwoofer expansion.

Round out your setup with the optional MDSP BT for Bluetooth streaming and DSP control on the larger models, or the MDSP DRC controller for volume, subwoofer level, source selection, and saved tuning presets.

How did TPD HiFi get started and where are we headed next?

In this video, Toby shares the story behind TPD HiFi and how a partnership with Dashkin grew from custom-build projects into a dedicated source for high-end, vehicle-specific audio solutions for classic trucks and 4x4s.

We saw that the custom truck and classic four-wheel-drive community needed audio systems that actually integrate into the vehicle—not systems that look like an afterthought. That idea led to our first kick panels for 1967–1972 Ford F-100 bumpsides, followed by audio solutions for 1966–1977 Broncos, C10s, squarebody pickups, and more.

At TPD HiFi, we focus on premium audio products we would confidently run in our own builds. That means carefully selected speakers, amplifiers, and components from trusted brands like Morel, designed to deliver serious sound without sacrificing the look and character of a classic vehicle.

Dashkin brings decades of manufacturing experience in plastic molding, CNC machining, vacuum forming, dash covers, reproduction door panels, and more—helping us create clean, purpose-built audio upgrades for classic and late-model trucks alike.

The 1st generation Ford Bronco presents many challenges when it comes to installing a high-quality audio system. The factory speaker location is limited to a single small dash speaker, the limited footwell space and parking brake limit kick panel options, and everything has to be able to handle the elements of an open-top vehicle. Born out of years of experience building custom Broncos, TPD HiFi has the answer!

Our audio kit combines the legendary Morel Virtus Carbon Nano 6-inch speaker with TPD’s revolutionary shallow kick panel for a total depth of just 1.5”, allowing plenty of clearance for your feet and a functional parking brake. We then add a 4-channel Musway amplifier with built-in DSP and a Musway powered 7-inch subwoofer for a 6-channel, audiophile-quality sound system, 100% designed around your classic Bronco.

We’ve also integrated the RetroSound Huntington Bluetooth AM/FM receiver into the system. Designed to fit perfectly into the stock Bronco dashboard, the Huntington offers the retro aesthetic of the original Ford AM radio while providing modern functionality. The Huntington Motor 4HD option lets you play music and make calls from your iPhone or Android device, play music from a USB drive or portable audio player, and listen to AM/FM radio. It includes the SiriusXM tuner kit, which will give you satellite radio capability and HD radio.

Not familiar with tuning DSPs? No problem! We preload our base tune into the amplifier so you can fine-tune with your head unit’s audio settings. In addition, we include mounting brackets for the amp and powered subwoofer that allow them to be mounted out of sight. To top it off, we provide a pre-wired harness and installation instructions.
