Looking for a lead diesel technician with experience to grow our small shop located in Broken Arrow, OK. We work on light duty diesels bumper to bumper with occasional gas vehicle and small equipment repair. We specialize in Powerstroke repair and service bumper to bumper. We run an honest shop and need honest, hard-working techs. To be a successful at our shop, you need to have solid skills and solid ethics. Hours are Monday-Friday 7am – 4pm. Responsibilities
• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• Running diagnostic tests on vehicles.
• Analyzing diagnostic test results.
• Discuss repairs with shop owner
• Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
• Be able to multitask well
• Be able to recognize vehicle repair problems and know how to fix them
• Have good trouble shooting skills
• Know how to use computer diagnostic equipment
• Maintains a clean, safe work area.
• Ensure total customer satisfaction and the integrity of Elite Diesel & Auto.
• Providing friendly and competent customer service.
• Reporting for work in a timely manner
• Proficient use of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, lap tops, diagnostic software.

Have you had your oil changed recently? Have you had your fuel filters changed?
If you answered NO to these questions, call us today at
918-615-6600 to schedule an appointment.
Fuel filters should be replaced on a routine maintenance schedule, approximately every 10-15K miles. Most newer diesel engines will have two fuel filters, a primary and a secondary. They should both be replaced at the same time for optimal cleaning

Common symptoms of faulty diesel FUEL INJECTORS.
1. Trouble starting the vehicle or uneven idling. The engine cranks but doesn't start unless you crank it for a long time.
2. Misfire.
3. Smell of fuel.
4. Dirty emissions.

Turbochargers ensure that your diesel runs effectively.

To get the most out of your induction system you will need to allow the vehicle to start up and run a few minutes to get warmed up. As you do this, you give the oil time to reach each tiny part of your engine that it should including the turbo. Oil additives are also really great for turbochargers and oil systems because diesel engines are known to emit a lot of heat. Oil additives maintain optimal lubrication and ensure the engine runs a long time.
