Racing under the lights in October with temperatures in the mid-60s, does it get any better? To make the most of this gift from Mother Nature, we want to go big for what could be our last Turn Key Thursday event of the year (weather permitting). If we yield a field of 30 drivers this Thursday night, we will give away two future Turn Key Thursday entries:

• 🏆 One to the race winner

• 🎲 One via random draw from everyone who finishes the race

There is no better time this year to hop behind the wheel of Wisconsin's fastest rental karts!

🏁 Event Details:
• Entry Fee: $70
• Registration: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Racing starts immediately after)
• Early Bird Practice: Come before 6:00 PM to practice for an additional $20.

Meet Your Sugar River Raceway Drivers! In his third year of racing, Noah Marsh broke through and became this year's Sugar River Raceway Kid Kart division Champion after a third-place campaign in 2025. He also placed second in the Red, White, and Blue Series in 2026.

Noah races a Kid Coyote by Coyote Motorsports that is powered by a Briggs & Stratton Racing 206 engine, which set the Kid Kart division's all time track record earlier this season. Noah was sponsored this year by Effervescent Esthetics LLC, Colberg Hi-Performance Tractor Repair (Mark Colberg), The NAPA Network Racing (Tom Fuchs), Ho**er Harness (Scott Phillips), Pierson Design (Dave Pierson).

Noah's favorite part of racing is holding the checkered flag during a victory lap and playing with his buddies between races. His favorite person to race against is the driver that ran first and second with him all season, Cullen Johnson. His goal next year is to repeat as champion and turn a lap time below 40 seconds.

Noah would like to recognize his parents Sarah Marsh and Jeremy Marsh, Searles and Chris Searles, Gary Eisenhower Jr and NDE Racing - Noah Eisenhower, and all of the Sugar River racing families that helped him over the years.

Turn Key Thursday is still a go for tonight, rain or shine. We will continue to offer Turn Key events every Thursday for the rest of the year until weather does not permit. If you have ever wanted to know what it feels like to race a go kart, come on out and hop behind the wheel. Be sure to stop in this Sunday between 10 am and 2 pm for Sugar River Raceway's annual swap meet and open track. $10 gets you into the pits and covers a driving pass. Interested in getting into racing? Come check out the used and refurbished karts for sale or test drive a rental. Have a kart already? Bring it out and see what it can do.

Meet Your Sugar River Raceway Drivers! Today we feature Cullen Johnson.

Cullen just completed his second season in the Kid Kart class, racing a Margay Racing LLC Wildcat chassis powered by a Briggs & Stratton Racing 206 engine.

In 2025, Cullen was named Kid Kart Rookie of the Year and finished fourth in championship points. In 2026, he placed first in the Red, White, and Blue Series and second in the overall championship.

His favorite person to race against is his buddy, Noah Marsh, and he is looking forward to moving up to the Junior 1 class to race with Zander Jacobson again.

Cullen’s goals are to reclaim the Kid Kart class track record and win a track championship before moving up through the ranks.

Cullen would like to recognize his mom Emily Johnson and dad Marc Johnson, along with all the family and friends who came out each week to watch and support him.

The point series race scheduled for tomorrow (9/20/26) will be canceled due to rain.

The double points/trophy race will now be held on October 4th’s point series day.

We will work to add a single points race day to the schedule after we review our availability.
