Established in 1990, the National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA) represents nearly 900 companies that sell, manufacture, lease, and repair semi-trailers and trailer parts and accessories throughout North America. The NTDA provides Federal Excise Tax information through a hotline manned by tax specialists; education; and valuable member programs and services. The NTDA produces an annual convent

ion and exhibition that features new product introductions, world-class educational programs, networking opportunities, and a Golf Tournament that benefits the NTDA Scholarship Program. The Association maintains its administrative headquarters in suburban Detroit. Board and staff members make annual visits to meet with Senators and Congressional representatives in Washington, DC. The National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA) has announced the election of Dealer member Mark Hall, General Manager — Trailers, Stoops Freightliner — Quality Trailer, Inc. (Indianapolis, IN), and Allied member Chris Hammond, Executive Vice President, Industry Affairs, Great Dane (Savannah, GA), to its Board of Directors. Each will serve a three-year term.

The new Board members will be officially installed on Oct. 14, 2026, during the 36th Annual NTDA Convention at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Each year, NTDA Dealer and Allied members elect new representatives to the Board. The NTDA Board of Directors comprises 12 members, with nine elected from the Dealer membership class and three from the Allied membership class. The National Trailer Dealers Foundation has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to 38 deserving recipients in 2026. Recipients were selected based on financial need, leadership skills, participation in service organizations, clubs, and other student groups at school and in their communities, as well as academic achievement.
