Here is something that can or is a problem with aftermarket sheet metal. This is an AMD hood for a 70-72 Chevelle in which the receiving nut for the hood hinge bolt is misaligned with the hood hinge slot. This will cause the hood to be difficult to align correctly pulling it toward the fender. See the before and after pics of the hood gap to the fender. Now to correct it.

Here is the 100% finished interior on Todd’s 71 SS Chevelle convertible. The shifter handle that has been in the car since his ownership was retained instead of putting the correct handle on keeping the character the car has had for many years.

Chris’ 69 Chevelle headed home today after another round of mechanical changes. Fresh brake lines and prop valve from Inline Tube, removed the previously installed no hop bars and modified upper trailing arms. Installed some UMI Performance Inc. Uppers, new axles from Quick Performance and replaced the 4.10 gears with some 3.55s from Richmond Gear.

Also had the wheels for Todd’s convertible blasted, coated with epoxy primer and refinished in the correct cast iron color. Finished off with fresh Cooper cobra radial tires.
