🚨 RV TIP OF THE WEEK – TEXAS HEAT & YOUR TIRES 🚨
We’re nearing the end of August, but don’t let the calendar fool you—Texas heat is still hard on your RV tires.
Before your next trip, take a few minutes to check:
✅ Tire pressure — always check when the tires are cold.
✅ Sidewalls — look for cracks, weather checking, or bulges.
✅ Tire age — RV tires can age out long before the tread looks worn.
✅ Uneven wear — it can be a sign of alignment, suspension, or weight issues.
✅ Make sure your tires are properly rated for the weight of your RV.
One of the easiest ways to prevent an RV breakdown is to catch a tire problem before you hit the highway.
And remember, a tire that looks good doesn’t necessarily mean it’s safe. Texas heat, direct sunlight, and hot pavement can be tough on RV tires.
Stay safe, check your tires, and enjoy the rest of your summer! 🇺🇸
